The Dandy Recycler™ is used for sediment control solutions for all storm water systems and dewatering projects. It is a high strength filtration geotextile filled with 100% recycled tire chips. The Dany Recycler is avaliable in lengths of 3', 4', 5', 6', and 8' with each seam stiched inside and away from stress points.  Made with proven durable Dandy Geotextile, the Dandy Recycler is a competitively priced alternative to Weighted Wattles, and also completely reusuable.

Dandy Bags®
The patented Dandy Bag® is designed for use with flat grates (including round) and mountable curbs to filter sediment-laden storm water.  The suspended solids are allowed to settle out of the slowed flow and are captured by the Dandy Bag® prior to entering the inlet.

Dandy Sack™
The Dandy Sack™ is an open-top bag that is designed to hang underneath a storm grate to filter sediment-laden storm water.  The suspended solids are allowed to settle out of the slowed flow and are captured by the Dandy Sack™ prior to entering the inlet.

Dandy Pop™
The Dandy Pop™ is designed for use with flat field grates to filter sediment-laden water.  The Dandy POP™ fully encloses the grate, eliminating sediment infiltration.  The suspended solids are allowed to settle out of the slowed flow and are captured by the Dandy POP™ prior to entering the inlet.

Dandy Curb Bag™

Dust Control Agents Soiltac & Durasoil by Soilworks

SOILTAC® by Soilworks is a polymer-based emulsion used primarily to stabilize all soils from dust and erosion.  It is specifically engineered for ease of use for large commercial projects down to smaller residential applications.  It can be as simple to apply as watering the ground.  Furthermore, Soiltac® is designed to work its way down into the soil to maximize the penetration depth.  The result is a thicker protective barrier with a more rigid and stable base.  Once cured, Soiltac® becomes completely transparent, leaving the natural landscape to appear untouched.  Soiltac® results are based on the application rate used.  Modest applications can create a light temporary surface crust that is permeable by water and is useful for dust control needs.  On the other hand, heavy applications can generate results similar to the qualities of cement.  Most importantly, Soiltac® is a truly biodegradable product that is completely environmentally safe to use.

Excelsior Blankets
Blankets consist of unique softly barbed, interlocking, curled,  Aspen excelsior fibers.  They are weed seed free.  Curlex blankets are available with a variety of environmentally sensitive and/or stronger  netting types to match job site requirements.  There is a green color coded plastic netting for applications  requiring UV resistance strength and longevity.

The photodegradable Quick Mow™ netting is recommended for urban, golf course and certain roadside projects.  It is color coded (white) to identify it as a rapid break-down, polypropylene netting designed for use in areas to be mowed.  Also available is a FibreNet™, 100% biodegradable netting, for use in critical environmentally sensitive areas.

Sediment Log

Sediment Logs use excelsior fibers to reduce hydraulic energy & filter sediment-laden runoff.  (Bioengineered Sediment Logs).  Water filters through (not underneath) the diameter of the porous, interlocked fiber log matrix.  As it does, velocity is naturally reduced and sediment is collected on the upstream side of the excelsior fiber log.  Install Sediment Logs over bare soil and/or biodegradable & permanent erosion control blankets, on steep slopes as a wattle, around drains for inlet protection or around jobsites for perimeter control.

Sediment Logs are extremely flexible and contour to the terrain to maintain intimate contact with the sub-grade.  In addition, they come with six other benefits; lightweight, no trenching, no weed seeds, no disposal hassles, re-usable and they hold their shape.

Straw Wattle

Erosion control and Sediment Retention Wattles (ESW) or Slope Interruption Devices (SID) commonly known as Wattles, are elongated tubes of compacted straw and/or other fibers that are installed along contours or at the base of slopes to help reduce soil erosion and retain sediment.  They function by shortening slope length, reducing runoff water velocity, trapping dislodged soil particles and ameliorating the effects of slope steepness.  Wattles are used as water flow dissipaters, trapping sediment when located prior to Drain Inlets (D.I.) etc.  Wattles are highly effective when they are used in combination with other surface soil erosion/re-vegetation practices such as surface roughening, straw mulching, erosion control blankets, hydraulic mulching and application of bonded fiber matrix or other hydraulic soil stabilizers.
